The challenges that accompany watercolor as a medium have always fascinated me and continue to do so.
For 99.9% of the time, I use the three primary colors, choosing to mix my own shades on the palette or on the watercolor paper using the wet-in-wet technique. This technique fascinates me as the colors blend in their own way.
I have also developed many new techniques quite by accident and as called for by the individual painting.
I enjoy painting landscapes of places I have visited or would like visit. I have recently developed a new way of enjoying life with the IMAGINE SERIES, a whimsical and fun way to look at the world.
